Vanessa brings to her practice excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Prior to joining Conrad O’Brien, Vanessa was a law clerk for the Honorable Joel H. Slomsky of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. During this federal clerkship, she researched and assisted the Judge with drafting judicial opinions and orders deciding motions to dismiss, summary judgment, judgment on the pleadings, sanctions, restitution, and other administrative matters. Vanessa was able to develop and hone these skills during her time on Villanova University Law School’s Moot Court Board. Vanessa practices in the areas of commercial litigation and employment law, white collar crime, and has significant experience in the analysis and interpretation of statutory issues.

Life Beyond the Office

Vanessa enjoys running, practicing yoga, drawing, and hiking. She has an affinity for discovering new music and has seen over 100 artists perform live in concert.
