Represented a global technology company in Texas state court litigation arising out of our client’s membership in a consortium formed to complete a federally funded project. Other consortium members claimed they were denied payment due to alleged wrongdoing by our client. We filed a motion for summary judgment, the trial court granted it from the bench in May 2014, and the Texas Court of Appeals affirmed in January 2016. The Texas Supreme Court denied plaintiffs' petition for review.

Represented a major insurer, a longstanding Conrad O’Brien client, in class actions arising out of an alleged failure to provide insurance discounts mandated under state law.

Represented another major insurer and an affiliated broker-dealer in litigation involving ERISA, fraud, and other claims arising from the sale of insurance products to fund employee welfare benefit plans.

Represented a physician in a multifaceted investigation under federal regulations governing research integrity.

Represented a small business in litigation after a promised acquisition fell through.
