Dave prides himself on being a relentless advocate and he excels at adopting innovative and efficient strategies for his clients. He represents clients including local and national businesses, individuals, educational institutions, and a religious institution in commercial and civil litigation matters in state and federal courts. Dave has litigated cases involving contract disputes, labor and employment, real estate transactions, and construction issues. He also advises clients on compliance with applicable regulations to mitigate litigation risks.
Prior to joining Conrad O’Brien, Dave counseled commercial businesses and educational institutions across Pennsylvania and New Jersey, defending business licenses in administrative actions and claims brought against professional and educational institutions.

Commercial Litigation
- Represented multinational insurance company in claims arising under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (“ERISA”).
- Defended multiple educational institutions in alleged negligence and premises liability actions.
- Obtained judgment for architectural design firm on a breach of contract claim against former client and successfully defended the firm from a counterclaim for alleged violations under Pennsylvania’s Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law.
- Successfully defended fine dining restaurant in litigation of construction law claims arising from the construction of a new location.
- Obtained favorable judgments for commercial landlords in ejectment and breach of contract actions against commercial tenants.
- Successfully defended clothing retailer in actions involving breach of contract and alleged violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”).
- Successfully petitioned federal bankruptcy court for relief from the Bankruptcy Code’s automatic stay on behalf of a foreign company and its owner, thereby securing a six-figure payout and permission to continue their pursuit of judgment rights against a debtor.
