Conrad O'Brien is pleased to announce that Patricia A. Hennessy has joined the Firm as a partner. Pat will be resident in the Firm's West Chester, Pennsylvania office and will focus her practice on education law, class action and commercial litigation.
A former assistant general counsel of Synthes (USA), Pat oversaw that company’s highly successful in-house claims process and defense of product liability lawsuits throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. She will continue to represent medical device firms and others companies in the defense of multi-million dollar class actions.
In addition to her work in the class action and commercial litigation arenas, Pat is acknowledged as one of the top education lawyers in the country. Her clients include charter schools, traditional public schools, private schools and institutions of higher education. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools. A graduate of Temple University (B.A., cum laude, 1989), Pat received her law degree from Temple University School of Law (J.D., 1995). She is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bars and the Pennsylvania and Chester County Bar Associations.
