Patricia M. Hamill, Partner at Conrad O’Brien, to Speak at American Bar Association 2015 Business Law Section Spring Meeting

We are pleased to announce that Patricia M. Hamill, Partner at Conrad O’Brien, has been invited to speak at the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association in San Francisco this Spring for their 2015 Business Law Section Spring Meeting.  Patricia will be speaking on a panel entitled:  “Getting Your Evidence in at Trial and Using it Effectively in a Business Case.”  The presentation will be held on Saturday, April 18th from 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.

Patricia is currently the Chair of the Business Litigation Committee of the Business Law Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association.


Patricia is co-chair of Conrad O’Brien’s Complex Commercial Litigation Group where she represents corporate clients, including Fortune 500 companies and corporate officers in a wide range of litigation in industries including technology, securities, and insurance.  Patricia also routinely represents her corporate clients in business-to-business litigation and employment matters, and has substantial experience in successfully representing companies in False Claims Act and other whistleblower litigation.  Her clients are in a wide range of industries including technology, insurance and securities.


Additionally, although Patricia has deep expertise in the civil arena, she has also spent the past two decades representing, counseling and conducting internal investigations for clients who face potential criminal liability from federal and state grand jury investigations into False Claims, bribes, kickbacks, identity theft, and other frauds, as well as SEC and FINRA investigations involving 10(b)-5 claims, insider trading or breaches of duty.


Patricia is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College (B.A., 1981) and the University of Maryland Law School (J.D., with honors, 1986).
