Conrad O’Brien PC Nears Top of Litigation Rankings in 2014 Chambers USA Results; Select Conrad O’Brien Partners Also Ranked

Conrad O’Brien is pleased to announce that the Firm has been recognized in the 2014 Edition of Chambers USA as one of Pennsylvania’s leading litigation firms.  This year’s Band 2 ranking marks the eleventh consecutive year that the Firm has been recognized by the publication, which ranks law firms based on client and peer-attorney interviews.  In this year’s edition,clients and peers praise the Firm as being “accessible, collegial, and able to devise very good arguments.”   The Firm is signaled out for its “dynamic practice”and “high-end experience in complex commercial, securities, and white-collar litigation.”  

The Firm is also recognized as being “highly active in litigation risk management, advising clients on ways to prevent or avoid potentially oncoming lawsuits, and maintains great experience in professional malpractice suits.”    

Five of the Firm’sattorneys are individually recognized in this year’s edition.  They are: 

 

  • Nancy Gellman.  Recognized for her stellar reputation with clients and peers, Nancy is praised as "a really great trial lawyer," with years of experience representing companies in class actions, insurance coverage matters, and commercial litigation.
  • James Rohn.   Chairman of the Firm, Jim has a diverse practice but is particularly known and sought after for his white-collar work.    
  • Jack Guernsey.  Jack has extensive experience working with clients on complex commercial and tort litigation.  He is well recognized by his peers, one of whom states:  "He is so good:  judges and juries love him."
  • Howard Klein.  Howard works primarily in the fields of commercial litigation, professional and product liability, class actions and medical malpractice matters.   
  • Nicholas Centrella.   Nick is praised for his client focus, and is particularly known for his expertise in legal malpractice cases.  He recently represented WolfBlock LLP in defending a professional malpractice case brought by a former client with respect to the drafting of a prenuptial agreement.

Additionally, Matthew Haverstick was recognized by Chambers USA as a “recognized practitioner” in Commercial Litigation matters in Pennsylvania.
